Easter & Resurrection Devotionals

Daily Easter devotionals on the cross and the empty tomb. Everything rises and falls on one weekend.

Everything in the Christian faith rises and falls on one weekend. Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Jesus lived a perfect life, died a sacrificial death, and rose bodily. And it wasn't done in a corner.

He appeared to the women, to the disciples, to people on the road, and one time to more than 500 people at once. Any lawyer would take that case. I've preached it every Easter for more than thirty years and I've never softened it, because the empty tomb is not a seasonal doctrine. It's the whole thing.

These Easter devotionals walk through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Read them in order during Holy Week, or in any order the rest of the year. If you're not sure you believe it, start anyway.

Questions

How long is each devotional?
+

About five minutes. One passage, a short reflection from Ed, and one thing to do or say that day.

Are these only for Holy Week?
+

No. The resurrection is the center of the faith every day of the year. These read just as well in October.

I'm not sure I believe the resurrection happened. Can I still read these?
+

Yes. Several of these are written for someone encountering the story for the first time, with no church background assumed.
