Standing at the Door

James 5:9 warns against grumbling — the quiet, sideways resentment that lands on the people closest to us when pressure comes from outside. Shared hardship can build solidarity or corrode it, and the Judge standing at the door hears every whispered complaint. The call is to replace the grumble with grace: pray for people instead of complaining about them, and speak honestly instead of letting frustration fester.
