Read:

1 Corinthians 11:1 “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.”

2 Corinthians 5:20a “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.”

Think:

Think back to the people you encountered in the last 24 hours. Were you a positive or a negative influence on their lives? Are they thankful that their paths crossed yours or do they look back with regret?

As Christians, we have an incredible opportunity. Consider this: whether you're at work, the grocery store, driving in traffic, or at home with the kids, someone is almost always watching. They pay attention to what you say and do – and are influenced by your way of living. You have the power inside you to impact people and this world for eternity. You never know how God is going to use you to spread the message of love and hope that Jesus preached, and to help make the world a better place. Through your actions, your words, and your faith, you can touch the hearts and minds of others, inspiring them to live a life of purpose and meaning. You can show them what it means to be a true follower of Christ and demonstrate the transformative power of the Gospel. So don't be afraid to step out in faith, to be a light in the darkness, and to share the amazing gift of salvation with those around you.

Apply:

Be aware today that you are leading someone. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and guard you as you go about your day. Honor Jesus with your words and actions.

Pray:

God, I realize I am leading people around me. Help me to not underestimate the impact of my actions and words. Allow me to represent you in a way that guides them toward heaven. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
